- Dezember: First demonstration of PAVIP in Bern. Shown at the fair InfoVision in cooperation with Bern Public Transport and the SBV.

- November: Milestone 312 introduced in Berlin at ABSV. Milestone 312 is the first device from Bones that integrates Text-To-Speech (Acapela), RFID-Reader, Clock and FM Radio in one device. Complete housing in high glossy black, silver keys.
- December: Presentation of the barcode reader Woodscan at the WBU (World Blind Union) conference in Geneva.

- Milestone 312 released with "312"-logo, housing in satin black, silver keys.
- Woodscan is released with an external laser barcode reader.

- Milestone 212 released in a red housing.
- FAME color reader released.

- Milestone 311 is discontinued.

- Transition of PAVIP St. Gallen from testing to regular operation. Low sighted passengers can now have the device speak the route numbers with end of the line names, place a stop request, find the bus with acoustical aid, have the coming bus stop names spoken during the drive and request a stop to get off.
- Milestone 112 released in blue housing. The Milestone product line is now complete: M312 as feature rich top end, M212 as easy and efficient reading device, M112 as powerful and reliable memo recorder.

- Launched the 10th anniversary edition: Milestone 312 with 3 different art design housings, each limited to 100 pieces, including an additional stop watch only found in this limited edition.
